VOLUNTEERS/L.A.M.P. - If you're interested in our leadership program just fill out the form below and, when you're asked which job you're applying for, choose "L.A.M.P." (Leadership And Mentoring Program).  Have a great summer!

  • Read ALL of these instructions before beginning. Collect all the necessary information (especially as pertains to your references) and then continue.
     

  • Read the "Summer Jobs" link to find the top two (2) jobs that you would like to apply for (hit the "back" button, or arrow, on your browser to return to this page).
     

  • Read the "Staff Rules" - click this link to take a look at our primary staff policies.  Staff all live together at the camp and we have a pretty high expectation of behavior.  (Hit the "back" button, or arrow, on your browser to return to this page after reading 'Da Rules').

  • Decide if you would like your references (other peoples assessments of your character and work ethic) done on-line or through the mail.  You will need to provide two (2) Character References (an Employer, Teacher or Family Friend - not a family member) and one Pastoral Reference (your Pastor, Bible Study Leader, or etc.).  To have references done on-line you will need to provide us with the following information (of your referrer): their name, their phone number, and their e-mail address - if you opt to have your references completed through the regular (snail) mail we will need the following information (again, of your referrer): their name, their phone number, and their street address.  If you have questions, e-mail us with them.

  • Fill out the application form - found below - completely, carefully and comprehensively.

  • Submit your form and follow any instructions that appear on screen.

  • Inform your Referrers that they will be getting contacted, by either e-mail or regular mail, by Camp Gifford to provide a reference for you.  We will either mail them a form or direct them to the appropriate internet address where they can fill out a reference on-line.

We will be interviewing beginning in mid-February.  You will be contacted via e-mail to let you know that we have received your application.  If you don't receive confirmation via an e-mail from camp within two weeks of applying please send us an e-mail requesting confirmation - we will look for your application and if it did not come through we will ask you to re-submit it.  THANKS!  God bless you!

Camp Gifford is a Christian Camp, and, as such, devotions, prayers and Christian teaching are all a part of our daily program. All jobs
require the ability to show and teach the love of Jesus Christ in word, action and attitude. Each employee will be expected to share
their personal Christian experience with the children, and pray with and teach basic Biblical principles to the children.
