Have you been to Camp Gifford before? Ever... Fill out our camp story form!!! Camp Gifford is a Christian camp owned and operated by The Salvation Army in Spokane, Washington. Every summer nearly 1,000 children and teens come to camp to be challenged, taught and to have a lot of fun while learning about themselves, their communities and their God. The Salvation Army Camp Gifford is committed to providing a safe environment for your child. All staff and volunteers are carefully screened through background checks, reference checks and detailed interviews. More importantly, we ensure child safety through well designed policies and procedures which help manage the environment and hold staff and volunteers highly accountable. If you’d like more information on how The Salvation Army Camp Gifford works to keep your child safe during their camp experience please call the Director, Jeff Potts, at 509-233-2511. Young people ages 7-17 are able to attend camp as a camper - participating in our youth or teen camping programs. Additionally, young people ages 13 and over have opportunities to participate in L.A.M.P. (the Leadership And Mentoring Program) or become staff (15 years +) at Camp Gifford.
